Job Description 

CubeMatch is looking for a role within the Global Credit Data team, operating under the WB Capital Liquidity Expertise Centre (WB CLEC). This position involves ensuring regulatory compliance and value optimization within Wholesale Banking's lending portfolio. Working within the WB Portfolio Tribe, the candidate will collaborate across departments in an Agile environment to maintain fit-for-purpose credit risk models and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Perform in-depth analysis on NPLs within the wholesale banking Large Corporate portfolio
  • Collect, analyze, and enhance historical default data in accordance with internal and external regulations related to PD and LGD model estimation
  • Collaborate with highly experienced professionals in a project team environment
  • Contribute to data remediation efforts for Large Corporates FIRB and Commercial Property Finance portfolios
  • Demonstrate knowledge of front office banking processes, as well as restructuring and refinancing processes.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 
  • In-depth understanding of wholesale banking, including front office operations, restructuring, and recovery processes
  • Experience working with Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and proficiency in risk data and associated PD, LGD, and EAD models
  • Familiarity with new definitions of default policies and related default indicators and triggers, including forbearance measures
  • Ability to comprehend syndicated LMA documentation, identifying terms and conditions relevant to default events of NPLs
  • Proficiency in reconciling transactions with high accuracy, analyzing actual account statements and GL entries on facility level
  • Working knowledge of collateral processes within banks
  • Extensive background in wholesale banking lending, credit risk assessment, credit restructuring, and refinancing processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in Dutch and English
  • Critical and analytical mindset, capable of handling high-stress project-based environments
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task completion
