Women in Finance Charter Targets Update 2026
At CubeMatch, we believe that Powering Change starts with acknowledging the importance of women representation and the need for gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
In 2024, Katie Molony became the first woman appointed to C-Suite at CubeMatch, marking an important milestone in the organisation’s commitment to gender diversity in leadership. Since then, leadership representation has continued to strengthen. Mhairi Kennedy joined as a Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) advisor, and Niamh Farrell was appointed Chief of Staff.
These appointments have resulted in women now representing 30% of leadership at Board and C-Suite level, exceeding the organisation’s stated targets. While this reflects meaningful progress, the company has identified further work to do in strengthening gender balance, particularly within the C-Suite. Current pay gaps are largely due to C Suite level with low rotation in senior leadership roles, with recent appointments primarily reflecting growth positions rather than replacement roles.
In 2026, CubeMatch renewed its focus on senior female leadership, with a number of new appointments of experienced female practitioners at senior manager level. This focus is intended to strengthen the leadership pipeline and support continued progress toward greater representation at executive levels in the future.
Flexible and hybrid working remain central to the company’s diversity strategy. CubeMatch views its commitment to flexible and hybrid working arrangements as a key enabler in ensuring that diversity goals do not limit the organisation’s ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the industry.
In 2026, the company also launched its Women in Finance Network, creating a platform for senior women across the organisation to connect, share experience, and sponsor emerging talent. The initiative complements participation in broader female leadership development programmes, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting women throughout their careers.
Celebrating role models across all levels of the organisation remains an important part of this effort.
In 2025, Aoife Mohan was recognised as Young Achiever of the Year, and in 2026 Jenny Ward was nominated for Innovation in Payments, reflecting the growing impact of women across the business.
Through leadership representation, targeted development initiatives, and inclusive workplace policies, CubeMatch continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting women in finance and building a more diverse and inclusive industry.
