Job Description

CubeMatch is seeking a Technical Delivery Lead responsible for managing the delivery of technology solutions within a defined capability workstream as part of a major programme release. The role focuses on developing and managing delivery plans, coordinating technical teams and vendors, and ensuring alignment with the overall programme delivery roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the delivery plan for the capability workstream, aligned with the overall programme delivery roadmap.
  • Identify and manage critical milestones, dependencies, and risks, ensuring alignment with the programme’s critical path.
  • Monitor and report progress, delivery forecasts, risks, issues, and defects for the workstream.
  • Collaborate with other workstream leads to ensure effective resource utilisation, vendor coordination, and operational readiness.
  • Provide regular updates to programme governance forums, including weekly status meetings and steering committees.
  • Manage resource planning and changes, including onboarding, replacement, and exit of technical resources.
  • Track and manage workstream costs, providing accurate forecasts and reporting for programme governance forums.
  • Ensure all delivery activities comply with programme frameworks, PMO standards, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
  • Act as the primary liaison with vendors, technology partners, and solution providers to ensure successful delivery of the technical solution.
  • Manage vendor engagements and Statements of Work (SOWs) where required, working with finance and change management teams.
  • Coordinate onboarding of technical resources and ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support the procurement and implementation of required technical components.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Strong experience in technical delivery leadership within large-scale technology programmes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex delivery plans, dependencies, and cross-workstream coordination.
  • Experience working within structured programme governance and PMO environments.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience managing technical teams, delivery resources, and programme budgets.
  • Knowledge of technology delivery frameworks, testing strategies, and deployment practices.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced programme environments while ensuring delivery milestones are achieved.
