Job Description 

CubeMatch is seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee and coordinate complex application release cycles across interconnected systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a complex chain of applications, ensuring smooth deployment processes and minimal disruption to business operations. This role requires excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts. The successful candidate will be well versed in release management processes, including detailed runbook creation and execution planning. Experience with Azure DevOps is highly desirable. Fluency in Dutch is essential for effective communication with regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Manage end-to-end release management processes across complex, interdependent application landscapes.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate release activities with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed release runbooks.
  • Ensure proper risk assessment, impact analysis, and mitigation planning for releases.
  • Communicate release plans, status updates, and risks to stakeholders in Dutch and English.
  • Maintain release documentation and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps (or similar tools) to support release planning, tracking, and deployment activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve release processes and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 

  • Proven experience as a Release Manager handling complex chains of applications.
  • Strong understanding of release management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience creating and managing detailed release runbooks.
  • Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps (desirable).
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent Dutch speaker (mandatory).
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
