Job Description 

CubeMatch is seeking for a Regulatory Reporting Consultant to join our client engagement, supporting critical regulatory obligations with a specific focus on MAS and HKMA reporting requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for the role holder to meaningfully contribute to the Regulatory Reporting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant submissions to regulators. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and execution of the regulatory reporting process for all in-scope Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives, maintaining strong controls, managing reporting risk, and supporting ongoing regulatory change within a complex derivatives environment.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Ensuring all regulatory reporting BAU and projects are met on time and to the highest standard.
  • Create SOPs and prepare documentation of operational processes.
  • Involvement in RCSA, EUC & incident reporting
  • Co-ordinate with Middle Office, Front office operations and IT systems to perform remediation of issues identified in Regulatory Reporting
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly status reports for regulatory remediation items and keep track of remediated trades.
  • Escalate issues / red flags identified, which may result in late or incorrect regulatory submission to senior management for resolution and remediation.
  • Participate in IT system enhancement and support process improvement projects.
  • Participate in regulatory Audits and perform remediation of Audit issues raised.
  • Participate in regulatory reporting system change and project UAT.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 

  • 2-4 years of operations experience in the banking and financial sector with transaction regulatory reporting focus.
  • Understanding of MAS and HKMA Trade and Transaction reporting is added advantage.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Understanding of OTC Derivatives FX, IR Linear and Non-Linear trades, Credit Derivatives & Equity Derivatives
  • Displays a high degree of control awareness, attention to detail and focuses on providing quality output.
  • A strong team player who can work autonomously with the ability to work under pressure against tight timelines.
  • Must have strong communication skills to clearly articulate issues and ideas, provide timely escalation
  • Good interpersonal skills to build strong relationship with key stakeholders within and outside of Operations
  • The ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced banking environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with MS products: high level Excel, intermediate VBA/Macros with Python skills an advantage
  • Interest in data analysis, process automation, big data or non-technical process efficiencies is an advantage
