Job Description 

CubeMatch is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the ISO20022 programme will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technology solutions, specifically focused on system implementations within the payments industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing technology delivery projects, with a particular focus on payment systems and knowledge of SWIFT standards. This role requires expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and implementing changes in payment systems in accordance with ISO20022 messaging protocols to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the ISO20022 programme, ensuring successful technology delivery and system implementations in line with project timelines and requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including test, development, BA, and operational model teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment across the project lifecycle.
  • Implement changes in payment systems in accordance with SWIFT standards and ISO20022 messaging protocols.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Oversee the execution of the Agile framework within the project, ensuring iterative progress and continuous alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring they are addressed promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and any potential roadblocks.
  • Ensure that all project activities are completed according to defined quality standards and compliance requirements..

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Strong project management experience, with a proven track record of managing system implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of payments, particularly in implementing changes according to SWIFT standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO20022 messaging and its role in modern payment systems.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, including the ability to drive iterative and incremental delivery.
  • Excellent coordination skills to manage multiple teams and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively while maintaining project timelines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear updates and resolve conflicts..
