Job Description

CubeMatch is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with strong Business Analysis skills to lead and support initiatives within the Funds domain, with a specific focus on Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on project leader who can seamlessly navigate between driving delivery and performing deep-dive analysis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering strategic and regulatory change across front-to-back fund processes, with an emphasis on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and product innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects and workstreams focused on ETF and other fund-related initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, capturing and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Plan, track, and manage project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct business analysis and process reviews across the ETF lifecycle (e.g., creation/redemption, NAV oversight, trade booking, and reconciliation).
  • Monitor progress and produce clear project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and decision records.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party vendors and service providers involved in fund operations or data services.
  • Ensure deliverables meet business objectives, regulatory expectations, and quality standards.
  • Support testing, implementation, and post-implementation reviews to ensure smooth handover to BAU.

 

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with hands-on Business Analysis capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Funds and Asset Management, particularly in the ETF space (primary and secondary market processes, fund structure, and operations).
  • Demonstrable experience delivering projects involving fund accounting, operations, trade lifecycle, or product development.
  • Solid understanding of ETF operational models including AP creation/redemption, basket handling, NAV calculation, and market making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across senior business, operations, IT, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with industry platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Calypso, SimCorp, Eagle) and data providers related to fund services.
  • Adept in using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
