Job Description

CUBEMATCH is looking for an experienced SQL Migrations Developer to support the end-to-end delivery of large-scale customer data migrations into a global Azure SaaS platform. The role involves designing and implementing scalable migration solutions to transition clients from multiple legacy systems into a single cloud-based environment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient, high-volume migrations while maintaining data integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data migration solutions using SQL and Azure technologies.
  • Analyze legacy data structures and define migration and transformation logic.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support migration planning.
  • Develop ETL processes using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and T-SQL.
  • Support testing, UAT, and production migration cutovers.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data migration issues.
  • Produce migration metrics, validation reports, and documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and migration efficiency.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Minimum 5+ years of SQL Development and ETL migration experience.
  • Strong expertise in T-SQL, MS SQL Server, and Azure SQL environments.
  • Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure-based migration solutions.
  • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience delivering large-scale data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Git is desirable.
  • Experience in Financial Services or Insolvency sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
