Job Description
CubeMatch is looking for a highly experienced Epic Owner / Senior Business Analyst to lead the delivery of complex change initiatives within the financial services sector. This role holds end-to-end responsibility for the business analysis and solution design of key epics, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both regulatory expectations and client needs. You will operate in an Agile environment as part of an international, self-steering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business analysis and solution blueprinting for epics within the change portfolio
- Analyse regulatory or policy changes to determine business and process impacts
- Define scalable and innovative solutions that enhance client experience and support compliance
- Document impact assessments, requirements, and blueprints, ensuring stakeholder alignment and sign-off
- Collaborate with squads to provide clear and actionable implementation requirements
- Estimate business-as-usual (BAU) impacts alongside process managers
- Prioritise epic delivery and support Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, refinements, and planning sessions
- Maintain high standards of quality and accountability in all deliverables
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial sector
- 4–6 years of proven track record in delivering change, preferably in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of financial market products (e.g., derivatives, bonds) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, SFTR)
- Experience working with financial institutions including brokers, CCPs, and trading venues
- Skilled in documenting and presenting complex business and regulatory requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, with experience working in multicultural, international settings
