Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking a skilled AML Remediation Analyst will support a regulated Wealth Management firm in Ireland with a focused AML documentation review following an internal audit and ahead of an upcoming regulatory assessment. The role is responsible for conducting detailed reviews of customer files across corporate, pension fund, and SME client segments to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements. The analyst will identify documentation gaps, assess financial crime risks, and develop remediation actions to strengthen the firm’s AML framework and operational readiness. This role reports directly to the Head of Financial Crime and requires close collaboration with Compliance, Onboarding, Front Office, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed sampling-based reviews of customer files across corporate, pension fund, and SME client segments.
- Assess the completeness, accuracy, and adequacy of CDD, KYC, and AML documentation in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and potential AML or financial crime risks.
- Prepare clear and structured documentation of findings, including remediation-ready file packs and standardized templates.
- Recommend practical remediation actions and documentation enhancements to address identified deficiencies.
- Maintain organized tracking of review progress, findings, and remediation actions.
- Provide regular status updates, reporting insights, trends, and emerging risk themes to the Head of Financial Crime and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Onboarding, Operations, and Front Office teams to clarify requirements and resolve documentation gaps.
- Support the firm’s preparedness for regulatory assessments and strengthen AML compliance controls.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
- Proven hands-on experience in AML, KYC, and Financial Crime roles within regulated Financial Services or Wealth Management environments.
- Strong understanding of AML regulatory requirements and customer due diligence obligations, particularly for corporate, pension fund, and SME clients.
- Experience conducting AML file reviews, customer documentation assessments, and remediation or gap analysis exercises.
- Solid knowledge of customer structures, beneficial ownership, and financial crime risk indicators.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a remediation-focused environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and documentation quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose practical remediation solutions.
- Ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, and business teams.
