Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking a Business Analyst in the financial sector, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between the requirement from the regulator, business, technology and operations and the resolution.
Your responsibilities include analysing problem statements, assessing current data and IT landscape, understanding business processes and design improvements to address the requirement of the stakeholders. To ensure that the delivered resolution is fit for purpose you liaise between decision makers, users and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering and alignment.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Assess impact on business processes, IT and data landscape and execute gap analysis.
- Propose, design and support the implementation of improvements.
- Ensure smooth user acceptance of the resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, decision makers and various development team
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in banking, insurance, or asset management.
- Experience of NL banking processes, esp in the area of business lending.
- Some experience in working with agile/SCRUM as a delivery methodology.
- Ideally, in possession of a recognised certificate such as the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis to demonstrate that you have mastered various research and analysis methodologies.Understanding of financial instruments and basics of financial accounting for banks, insurers and investment funds
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
- Resident of The Netherlands (citizenship or full permit).
- Willing to travel / work remotely in Germany, UK or Ireland.
