Job Description 

CubeMatch is seeking for an experienced Consultant with strong Depositary and Funds expertise to support a key client through their migration from FundRecs to Depowise. This role will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing deep domain knowledge, supporting system transition activities, and ensuring a smooth and controlled migration ahead of the January go-live. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational funds knowledge with hands-on system implementation and stakeholder engagement experience.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Depositary and Funds operations throughout the migration from FundRecs to Depowise
  • Support the January migration programme, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal operational disruption
  • Leverage insights from the recent Luxembourg rollout to inform best practices and risk mitigation
  • Engage with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and validate process changes
  • Review and document current-state processes and controls within FundRecs
  • Support configuration, testing, and validation activities within Depowise
  • Identify operational risks, gaps, and control considerations during the transition
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and oversight obligations relevant to Depositary functions
  • Assist with UAT coordination, issue resolution, and post-implementation stabilisation

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 

  • Strong background in Depositary Services and Funds operations (essential)
  • Proven experience working on system implementations or migrations within Fund Administration or Depositary environments
  • Prior exposure to FundRecs and/or Depowise platforms (highly desirable)
  • Experience supporting regulatory and oversight frameworks within funds environments
  • Ability to operate as an SME and confidently advise senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and process documentation skills
  • Experience supporting UAT, testing cycles, and operational readiness activities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced migration environment
