Job Description

CubeMatch is seeking a Data Analyst in the financial sector, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between data and decision-making. Your responsibilities include analyzing complex financial datasets, developing dashboards and reports, and providing insights to stakeholders on trends, risks, and opportunities. You will collaborate closely with finance, risk, and IT teams to deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, analyse, and validate financial and operational data using SQL & Python.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis.
  • Automate manual processes.
  • Ensure data quality and compliance (e.g. BCBS239).
  • Collaborate with various teams to enable data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a data or financial analyst, preferably in banking, insurance, or asset management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel,  SQL / Python, and Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
  • Resident of The Netherlands (citizenship or full permit).
  • Willing to travel / work remotely in Germany, UK or Ireland.
