Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking a seasoned Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist with a wealth of experience in ensuring precise compliance with regulatory reporting mandates, including ECB/DNB requirements. With a proactive stance on process enhancement and fostering stakeholder collaboration, I specialize in leading teams, offering crucial insights into significant banking initiatives, and executing intricate reporting duties with meticulous precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and coaching to the regulatory reporting team, leveraging expertise to drive continuous improvement in work processes.
- Collaborate closely with departmental managers to assess and implement enhancements, ensuring efficient and effective reporting procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of departmental operations, actively identifying opportunities for optimization and streamlining.
- Act as a key stakeholder in bank-wide projects, offering valuable input on regulatory reporting implications and requirements.
- Contribute specialized knowledge and expertise to project teams, facilitating seamless integration of regulatory reporting considerations into broader initiatives.
- Execute, review, and enhance reporting processes, with a primary focus on handling complex reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct thorough data analysis, drawing actionable insights and proactively addressing discrepancies or variances.
- Foster effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, promptly resolving reporting issues and facilitating collaborative solutions.
- Participate in a significant bank-wide program focused on transitioning to granular data reporting, including the implementation of OSX for Regulatory Reporting.
- Collaborate with the regulatory reporting team and project stakeholders to complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the program's successful implementation.
- Lead projects aimed at integrating new products into the reporting process, ensuring seamless alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate ad hoc analysis and support to management and other departments on financial matters, demonstrating versatility and agility in addressing diverse needs.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

- With a background in the banking sector, particularly in accounting and/or DNB/ECB reporting, you possess extensive experience that enables you to excel in this role.
- You have a strong understanding of financial products, including complex financial instruments such as securities, allowing you to navigate diverse challenges with confidence.
- Your well-developed critical thinking skills, coupled with your analytical mindset, enable you to approach problems strategically and derive valuable insights.
- You are accustomed to working in an agile environment, where adaptability and responsiveness are essential for success.
- Fluency in the Dutch language ensures seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders, facilitating efficient workflow and decision-making.
- You have an affinity with PowerBI or other BI tooling, enabling you to leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making processes.
- While not essential, proficiency in OSX for Regulatory Reporting is advantageous, enhancing your ability to navigate specialized software systems effectively.
