Project Manager - CubeMatch UK

CubeMatch UK is seeking to recruit two highly skilled Project Managers with experience of working on large scale change programs within the Banking sector. The successful candidates will lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, defining roadmaps, scope, budget estimation and project implementation plans including risk mitigation.

A Hybrid working arrangement will apply to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in strategic discussions, working with stakeholders to ensure program/ project scope definition meets business objectives
  • Building and managing relationships with key stakeholders in Business, Change, and IT
  • Coordinating internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
  • Analysing project progress and, when necessary, adapting scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project adheres to requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Monitoring and assigning resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximising deliverable outputs
  • Establishing and maintaining processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
  • Communicating progress to stakeholders/ senior management, including escalation of risks and issues, on a timely basis
  • Supporting Change and Technology in identifying and addressing interdependencies between the program/ projects and other strategic initiatives
  • Interfacing across multiple functions including quantitative risk, risk technology, front office technology and other groups as well as the risk manager population
  • Working closely with the Technology team to ensure that users requirements and requests are delivered timely, accurately and successfully

Qualifications

  • 7+ years project management experience on large change programs
  • Proven success working with all levels of management 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience of working with Agile Methodologies and Tools Knowledge of the SDLC

Education

  • Bachelor’s/ University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional certification – including PMP/ PRINCE II (desirable, but not essential)
