Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking two dynamic and experienced Payments Business Analysts to join our team in driving a large-scale payments migration and integration program. This role involves transitioning payments from existing platforms to new systems, integrating payments platforms with core systems such as accounting and reconciliations, and transforming customer payment journeys from manual processes to automated solutions. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in payments, business analysis, and stakeholder management, with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for payments migration and integration projects.
- Develop detailed user stories, epics, and other agile artifacts to support project delivery.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and capture requirements, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and other partners to ensure seamless integration of payments platforms with core systems.
- Drive the transformation of customer payment journeys from manual to automated processes, improving efficiency and user experience.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and issues and proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with SEPA payments and direct debits, including business and personal payments, as well as instant payments.
- Support service delivery by ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience in business analysis, particularly within payments migration and integration projects.
- Strong understanding of SEPA payments, direct debits, and instant payments.
- Experience in service delivery within payments environments.
- Familiarity with channel origination processes and customer journey automation.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience in creating user stories, epics, and other agile documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
- Experience with FIS OPF systems, while not mandatory, is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of SEPA instant payments and channel origination processes.
- Ability to work on the business side of programs, engaging directly with business stakeholders.
- Prior experience in payments SME roles or similar capacities.
- Proven track record of hitting the ground running in dynamic and complex project environments
