Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst. The role involves proactive and reactive support, focusing on key areas such as Monitoring & Investigations (M&I), Prevention & Awareness (P&A), Quality Assurance (QA), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD). The successful candidate will work closely with Compliance teams, providing expert guidance on financial crime prevention, while collaborating with the first line of defence to ensure robust control frameworks are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Monitoring & Investigations (M&I) to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
- Develop and deliver Prevention & Awareness (P&A) initiatives to mitigate financial crime risks.
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations.
- Lead Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes for high-risk clients and transactions.
- Provide both proactive and reactive financial crime support across Commerzbank entities.
- Collaborate with Compliance and business teams to strengthen first line of defence controls.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of financial crime regulations and frameworks (AML, KYC, CTF, Sanctions).
- Experience in Monitoring & Investigations (M&I) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
- Proficiency in conducting Quality Assurance (QA) reviews and developing Prevention & Awareness (P&A) programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, especially with Compliance and business teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
