Job Description
CubeMatch is looking for a Senior Data Modeller who is fascinated by the financial sector and eager to explore the world of banking products. In this role, you will collaborate with data engineers, modelers, and analysts, and manage stakeholders to create value using data and accelerate the optimization of our clients' processes. Your primary focus will be on gathering requirements from stakeholders, translating them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and sharing knowledge with data engineers for development. Additionally, you will work closely with the Product Owner to set and execute the team’s vision, while also contributing to data engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and translate business needs from the data analysts to the developers via long-term data models;
- Evaluate existing data systems across different domains and look for improvements;
- Working with development team to understand conceptual, business and technical data models and data flows;
- Engage in complex long term project;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams & promote teams working together at all levels
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
- You are seasoned professional with 5+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years in data modelling field;
- Proficiency in programming language such as SQL and Python;
- Able to perform functional validation, testing and managing stakeholder's expectations;
- Excellent understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and data modelling techniques;
- Strong and clear communication skills in English (Dutch basic knowledge);
- Good understanding of cloud technology - Azure Cloud.
- Experience in working well with multinational teams spread across countries;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills;
- Preferable WO degree / Masters Degree (business administration, economics, finance or a related field) or HBO degree
