Job Description 

CubeMatch is looking for a Data Governance Anayst specializing in Transaction Data within the Capital Markets domain, you will spearhead a comprehensive program of works within the bank. The primary focus is the implementation of a robust Data Governance initiative for Transaction Data. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders in Front Office, Operations, and Technology to ensure that data governance practices align with strategic objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead and drive the Data Governance initiative for Transaction Data, overseeing its implementation across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Front Office, Operations, and Technology to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Implement and manage Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, and Data Access Management processes specifically tailored for Transaction Data within Capital Markets.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology, including MS Purview (or similar), Databricks, Enterprise DQ Tools, and Data Marketplace, to enhance and streamline data governance procedures.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining data governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data governance standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Data Analysts and Engineers to design and implement effective data solutions that adhere to governance principles.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 
  • In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets and Capital Markets Market Data, with a particular emphasis on Pricing.
  • Expertise in Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, and Data Access Management within the context of Capital Markets.
  • Proficiency in MS Purview (or similar), Databricks, Enterprise DQ Tools, Data Marketplace, and a broad understanding of Data Analysis and Data Engineering technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Data Management).
  • Proven experience in leading Data Governance initiatives, with a focus on Transaction Data within Capital Markets.
  • Strong background in Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, and Data Access Management.
  • Familiarity with Data Analysis and Data Engineering technologies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, and Technology.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing data governance challenges.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
