Job Description 


CubeMatch is seeking a Senior Data Technology Architect to lead the development of a target state data platform and technology architecture as part of a significant Strategic Data and Analytics program. This role will focus on supporting regulatory compliance, data governance, and modernizing data and analytics technology to drive the bank's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead the development of the target state platform and technology architecture to meet long-term data management and analytics requirements.
  • Enable execution of the Data and Analytics Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and securing stakeholder buy-in.
  • Develop enterprise-wide data architecture and processes to support strategic data-related changes.
  • Define strategies, policies, and standards for data governance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the delivery of the Trusted Data Hub program, facilitating BCBS 239 compliance and enhancing data quality.
  • Implement enterprise analytics tools and technologies to support the Data and Analytics Transformation program.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 
  • Over 10 years of experience in data technology, platforms, and architecture, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
  • Proficiency in AI, machine learning, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as DAMA, DCAMs, and concepts like Data Mesh and Data Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture practices and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel guidelines, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership skills in business transformation and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with enterprise-class data management and security platforms (e.g., IBM, Informatica, Collibra).
  • Background in financial services and knowledge of regulatory environments.
