Credit Risk Business Analyst - CubeMatch UK

CubeMatch UK is seeking to recruit experienced Credit Risk Business Analysts. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and executing the analysis activity within one or more of the priority programmes.

A Hybrid working arrangement will apply to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging key stakeholders to understand program/ project deliverables and key milestones 
  • Participating in strategic discussions, working with stakeholders to ensure program/ project scope definition meets business objectives
  • Building and managing relationships with key stakeholders in Business, Change, and IT
  • Communicating progress to stakeholders/ senior management, including escalation of risks and issues, on a timely basis
  • Responsible for collating the business requirements, testing, production deployment and training to ensure end to end delivery of the project
  • Supporting Change and Technology in identifying and addressing interdependencies between the program/ projects and other strategic initiatives
  • Leading engagement of external parties (business, tech) where there are product dependencies
  • Working closely with Technology team to ensure that users requirements and requests are delivered timely, accurately and successfully
  • Engaging Users to plan test scenarios, performing pre-UAT sanity checks and coordinating with business users to perform UAT
  • Performing UAT and postproduction testing
  • Providing training and maintaining business related documentation (e.g., user guides)

Qualifications

  • Excellent experience within Investment Banking, including strong traded-product knowledge
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst within a Bank with some front office experience
  • Experience of working on large change programs 
  • Ability to define project requirements; to manage issues and to deliver on a schedule
  • Ability to analytically and logically define a problem and steps to find solutions
  • Understanding of Credit Risk management including methodology, processes and terminology
  • Understanding of RWA finance calculations, in relation to trading book products including methodology, processes and terminology
  • Back-testing and Stress-testing concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Experience of working with Agile Methodologies and Tools Knowledge of the SDLC

Education

  • Bachelor’s/ University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred
