CubeMatch Ireland and the Fintech Payments Association of Ireland, are organising a panel event: “Instant Payments - Data, Fraud and Sanction Checking”. The event will take place on Thursday June 8th, at One Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 and will start at 8.15 AM (Registration and Refreshments 8.15AM – 8.45AM).

- Céline Singleton - CEO of Paysend EU
As CEO of Paysend EU, Céline is responsible for leading and developing Paysend across the EEA. She has worked in Financial Services for 25 years holding leadership roles in Payments, Banking Operations, Divisional Transformation and Risk Management. Prior to working in Fintech, Céline was Head of Payments for Ulster Bank where she led the bank’s payment strategy and before joining Ulster Bank, she was Chief Operating Officer at Rabobank Ireland.
- Russell Burke - Regulatory and Strategic Payments Consultant
Russell has over 44 years' experience in Banking and Payments (Bank of Ireland, Irish Payment Services Organisation, Central Bank of Ireland) and is one of Ireland’s leading Payment Experts. In 2021, Russell established Juristic Ltd., a firm that specialises in advising both applicant and regulated payments and electronic money businesses. He is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of myPOS Ltd. and Chair and Non-Executive Director of Paytrix Ireland Ltd.
- Bob Ford - Payments Consultant, UK
Bob is a Payments Expert having worked with a number of banks, consultancy firms, software houses and National Payment Schemes during a distinguished career spanning almost 50 years. Throughout his career, Bob has undertaken a number of payments related roles utilising his extensive knowledge of payments to design new applications to meet specific payments related needs. Bob regularly writes blog posts around payment issues, alongside moderating and speaking at various webinar events.
- Mike Hampson - CubeMatch Head of FinCrime Practice, chairing the event
Mike has over 35 years' experience working in the Banking Industry, in that time he worked for Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and ABN AMRO where he ran the Financial Institutions Transaction Banking Business. He subsequently founded his change management company, Bishopsgate Financial, and also served as Compliance Director and MLRO for the International Payments Business Midpoint, now listed on the Toronto Exchange. Following the acquisition of Bishopsgate by CubeMatch in 2021, he is now a member of the London leadership team of CubeMatch.
These Industry experts will discuss the challenges surrounding Instant Payments, with a focus on Data, Fraud and Sanction Checking.
